    DO NOT BUY A DELL PRODUCT, complete joke and waste of a company. When you have to send a laptop in FIVE TIMES, in less than a year, clearly there are issues. Every time it was "fixed" it came back broken in a new way. No exaggeration. This last time my backlight keyboard no longer lights up, an upgrade I was charged for.   • 2 year extended warranty

    I purchased a Dell product (90w A/C adapter) for my laptop with a 2 year extended warranty which was purchased in good faith. In the hope that if anything went wrong with this product it would be replaced. Well the adapter isn't working (not charging my laptop).     Ordered $100.00 Dell gift card online with order number 799617317. Paid with promo gift card. 3 weeks later called to find out when I would receive and was told I would not because I cannot purchase a gift card with a promo gift card!!!     I purchased a dell Inspiron one all in one a couple of years ago. I installed all additional software such as antivirus was installed. After about 6 months the computer seemed to go in sleep mode. I had to push the sleep button on the keyboard to get it out of that mode. Upon awakening the monititor would start flashing red, yellow, blue, green colors and I would have to turn it off by clicking the sleep button multiple time.   • Dell: V725w printer has been a huge failure

    I purchased the V725w printer. It has never worked well. Support has never corrected the problem. When the printer does work the quality is below and older dell printer that I owned before this one. The ink does not last. I only printed a few pages and the color ink was gone.     Service Request Number 898185645 I purchased a laptop and it was delivered on 8/15/2014. The laptop was defective and froze.     The Dell Co has fallen so low in the Customer Service Dept. My Case involved such a lack of communication on the part of Dell. They dropped the ball on my order every step of the way. I purchased a Vizio TV, model E390I-A1 LED on Cyber Monday, but when I checked my account, it showed a different model named E390-A1, which is a model without wireless internet.     A large company like Dell needs to reevaluate their customer service department. It is not surprising to me that Dell has such a huge corporation as their products are cheap. However, their representatives that they pay to take calls from customers lack knowledge base on their products and basically try to sell you other products before solving your concern.     At first,when my Inspiron14r's motherboard gave out, I was elated to discover that the warranty was still good and a replacement was coming my way.     On 3/21/2013 I bought a computer online at Dell. The computer is for my granddaughter who just started college. My mother's Dell computer that she had recently bought had been hacked by a scam artist who called her cell phone number and convinced her that she needed him to let him get on her computer and fix it for her. She didn't know not to let him. He then got on to her computer without her giving him and numbers and messed with it and then convinced her to pay him $40 with her debit card. The next day she told me what she had done and I was horrified. I helped her to get her money back and then called Dell for help. AFTER their Tech support had spent a half an hour or so remotely working on her computer they then informed us that in order to take all of the bad files off she would have to pay them $129.00. I told them that was unacceptable and that they had wasted my time by not informing me FIRST that they were going to try to make us pay through the nose for helping us.

My husband then came over and fixed everything for her with NO problem the next day.

I feel strongly that Dell's so called Tech Support tried to scam us and rip us off also. I feel they were no better then the hacker/scammer. I no longer have any respect for them.

Dell reused point-blank to give me a returns address so I could ship a damaged out-of-the-box laptop back for a refund. They were insistent to see photos first. I asked them to send me a camera to take the photos, they would not. I explained continuously that I did not have a camera available and as it was within 24 hours of delivery and well within the 7 day distance selling regulations for the UK - I was not obliged to submit photos.

I've never had such shocking service from an online company. And this is my 19th Dell PC since 2004...

And it's getting worst!!!

RIP Customer Service.

This company has the worst customer service i have EVER!!!!!!! seen, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! I purchased a $2000 Dollar computer with dell, this is probably my 5th dell. i was supposed to receive a gift card for some were around 5%, i was told it would come in the mail with my billing info. i waited and waited for about 85 to 90 days. i went and dug around on the Internet to see what i could find, it was sent to my email. first off i was told it would come in the mail....... so i then tried to use it on 2-1-13 after learning that it was a 97 dollar gift card. come to find out it has a expiration date 1-30-13...... i was also told dell gift cards don't expire. that was obviously a lie!!!!!! i then tried to call and see if it could be fixed right away 3 different days with multiple phone calls the last one of which was 3 calls, 2 transfers from a so called manager dropped after she said she would transfer me to a sails rep to fix it, then the second time after 45min of transfers i asked to talk to her boss and she said "no she wouldn't do that" after i said i want to talk to someone higher than you then she rudely and reluctantly did so TO A MACHINE!!!!!! then it dropped again. so i managed to find another customer service number and asked to talk to a manager, they called me back after they were available. i explained my story and they said sorry they couldn't help me. he was polite and nice after learning about the ordeal. so in a nut shell after being told something by a dell rep. i was miss led and the company does not back what their reps. say, i was then lied to by a manager and disrespected to boot, then to basically told by the last manager i was S.O.L. because of what their company told me. stay away from dell not worth it go to another company who will take care of there loyal customers. i was just looking to try and get the gift card back or even the 50 of the 97 i was trying to spend with them, not like i was asking for the moon :( i was a loyal customer for the last 10 ish yearsa very Big WAS!!!!!

DELL Customer Service is very bad! I called in with a memory card problem and I was transferred to (no lie because I counted) twenty-seven different reps...each time the rep would ask me for my "Tag #" and what the problem was and then I was informed that I had the wrong department and they had to transfer me...finally I gave up while being transferred to yet another customer "care" rep. The experience was a turn off and I will absolutely never ever EVER purchase from DELL...DELL Stinks:-( And my bad for not hanging up the phone after my third tranfer!!!!!

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AT DELL. It's really a shame. I purchased a Dell XPS 17 icore 7 (top line of consumer products at the time) in March. Hard drive crashed (disk read error, pres crtl+alt+del to rerecovery) in June. They shipped and installed via a tech a new hard drive and system (a/k/a mother) board. No software was on the "new" hard drive. After much frustration and hours on phone, new hard drive was shipped. It was also not loaded despite various assurances that it would be. Tech support, hardware spport, employee purchase plan support, no help! Hard to understand and trying to be friendly but no resolution. After 15+ years as a Dell customer and encouraging my non-tech savy parents to buy as well, I will not be purchasing aain. No one cared (or maybe they just have no power to do anything) about making it right for me as their customer. VERY disappointed.

I had to call back several times and wait on hold for at least a 1/2 hour to cancel my order. I was told originally that I couldn't cancel my order, then that they would put in an expedite request for me and if that didn't get "approved" then I could cancel (which doesn't make sense - why could I cancel then but not now?). I wasn't getting anywhere with that person, so I finished the call and called back to get someone else. That person said they would cancel my order (thank gosh!). But then the next morning I received an email that my order had shipped. I called again and was told that I had to receive it and then return it. This was such a waste of my time - why couldn't I just cancel my order?!
